On November 25, 1993, after inaugurating the cartoon exhibition organized in Kozhikode by the Kerala Cartoon Academy in collaboration with Navatharang, the cultural organization of bank employees, artist Namboothiri is seen with cartoonists Sudheer Nath, Nathan, M. S. At a function held at the SMS Auditorium of Cochin University, Dr. Sukumar Azhikode releases the first copy of the book *Who Is Who: Kerala Cartoonists*, on 1993 September 28 published by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, by presenting it to cartoonist Shivaraman. Senior cartoonist M. S. On March 8, 1993, at the Secretariat Gate in Thiruvananthapuram, cartoonist Abu Abraham inaugurates a live cartoon drawing event on religious harmony organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy.  The 13th anniversary of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, held in Ernakulam on January 24, 1993. 1993 ജനുവരി 24ന് എറണാകുളത്ത് നടന്ന കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി 13-ാം വാര്‍ഷികം. 

On February 16 and 17, 1992, at the Kollam Public Library Hall, the cartoon exhibition organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy is being inaugurated by the renowned psychologist and cartoonist Dr. P. M. Mathew Velloor. Also seen are M. S. Mohanachandran, Sukumar, P. V. Krishnan, and Kadavoor G.  The Government of India's Department of Posts issued two commemorative postage stamps on July 31, 1991, honoring the legendary cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai. These stamps, valued at ₹4.00 and ₹6.50, featured two of his famous cartoons. They were released to celebrate his significant contributions to Indian political cartooning and child welfare. At a ceremony held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Chief Minister K. Karunakaran released the Cartoonist Shankar commemorative stamps by presenting them to Kerala Cartoon Academy Secretary Raju Nair. The Government of India's Department of Posts issued two commemorative postage stamps on July 31, 1991, honoring the legendary cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai.   In 1981, at a planning meeting held under the chairmanship of cartoonist Yesudasan to form the Kerala Cartoon Academy, B. M. Gafoor, S. Mohan, Raju Nair, and Y. A. Rahim participated, along with humor writer and DYSP P. Abdul Hameed to make up the quorum. On November 29, 1981, another meeting held at the Ernakulam Press Club under the chairmanship of cartoonist Shivaram officially gave shape to what is today the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Sixteen cartoonists participated in that meeting. The meeting elected cartoonist Yesudasan as Chairman and B. M. Gafoor as Secretary. Cartoonist Toms was the Vice Chairman. In addition to them, cartoonists Thomas, Shivaram, Nathan, Seeri, John Kakkanad, Shathru, K. S. Gopalan (Bhagavan), Venugopalan (Venu), Dr. P. Kamalasan, Balu, C. A. Solomon, Raju Nair, Shivan, Gopan, M. M. Monayi, Joshy George, Peter Panathara, and M. N. In 1967, in Kochi, cartoonists Thomas, Shivaram, Mantri, and artist Raghavan Nair, among others, organized a gathering with the participation of cartoonist Kutty, who had come home from Delhi to spend his vacation. An organization called the All Kerala Humour Arts Council was formed then, and the gathering held that day was called the All Kerala Humour Arts Council Conference. They went to the famous Krishnan Nair Studio in Ernakulam, had a photograph taken, and got the news along with the photograph published in newspapers as the All Kerala Humour Arts Council Conference. (The photograph taken then is attached with this note.) That gathering was the first cartoonists’ gathering not only in Malayalam but in all of India.
