Live Caricature Drawing at the Cultural Congress As part of the Cultural Congress held in Ernakulam, artists from the Kerala Cartoon Academy drew live caricatures free of charge on December 20, 21, and 22, 2025. Cartoonists sketched visitors' caricatures free of cost at the venue in Ernakulam Subhash Park and at the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi venue.   The Birds That Never Saw the Sky The graphic novel *The Birds That Never Saw the Sky*, written by Adv. P. U. Noushad, Caritoon Director of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was released at the 2025 edition of Comic Con by M. A. Baby, former Minister for Culture and General Secretary of the CPI(M) on 2025 December 21st. Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Chairperson Murali Cheeroth and Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairperson Sudheer Nath also attended the event. This is Noushad’s second graphic storybook. The Kerala Cartoon Academy conducted the Anti-Endosulfan Campaign on a very large scale at the State School Arts Festival. Although the program was originally planned to be held from January 18 to 23, 2011, in a specially prepared pavilion at the Thirunakkara Grounds in Kottayam, following requests from the public and the organizers, a second pavilion was set up at the main venue, the Police Grounds. The pavilions featured exhibitions of cartoons, caricatures, and photographs, along with live caricature drawing. On January 18, the event was inaugurated by the Minister for Cultural Affairs, M. A. Baby. On the first day, Academy member Anjan Satheesh served as the chief caricaturist. Numerous prominent personalities, including Vasavan MLA, Sukumar Azhikode, M. Mukundan, Justice K. T. Thomas, Muhammed Hanish, Chemmanam Chacko, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, and Sugathakumari Teacher, participated in the Academy's programs. The Kerala Cartoon Academy, in collaboration with the American Consulate, organized two programs in Ernakulam on December 2, 2010, featuring renowned American cartoonist and Witty World Director Joe Szabo. On the morning of December 2, an interactive session and demonstration with young cartoonists were held at the Kerala Press Academy. Cultural Minister M. A. Baby, Kerala Press Academy Chairman S. R. Shaktidharan, and others attended the event. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി, അമേരിക്കന്‍ കൗണ്‍സിലേറ്റിന്‍റെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ പ്രശസ്ത അമേരിക്കന്‍ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റും വിറ്റി വേള്‍ഡ് ഡയറക്ടറുമായ ജോ സാബോയുടെ രണ്ട് പരിപാടികള്‍ എറണാകുളത്ത് 2010 ഡിസംബര്‍ 2 തീയതി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഡിസംബര്‍ 2 തീയതി രാവിലെ കേരള പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമിയില്‍ യുവ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളോട് നടത്തിയ മുഖാമുഖവും ഡമോയും നടന്നു. സാംസ്കാരിക മന്ത്രി എം എ ബേബി, കേരള പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ എസ് ആര്‍ ശക്തിധരന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. 

On the occasion of Children's Day, the Kerala Cartoon Academy honored senior cartoonist Toms at a function held on November 14, 2010, at Al-Ameen School, Edappally. The real-life characters who became famous through the cartoon *Boban and Molly* were also honored at the event. The day-long program was inaugurated by the Prime Minister's Principal Secretary, T. K. A. Nair. Activities for children included a cartoon workshop and a live cartoon competition. The valedictory function was attended by Cultural Affairs Minister M. A. Baby, Opposition Leader Oommen Chandy, Kochi Mayor Tony Chammany, Additional Solicitor General T. P. M. Ibrahim Khan, actor Vinu Mohan, and MLA M. M. Monayi, among others. The *Cartoon Handbook*, prepared by young cartoonist Badusha and published by the Cartoon Academy, was released by Cultural Affairs Minister M. A. The Kerala Cartoon Academy honored cartoonist Peter on April 17, 2010, in Chennai, the city where he had carried out his professional work. The Academy's honor was presented by the Minister for Culture, M. A. Baby. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Prasannan Anikkad, Secretary Sudheer Nath, Nakkeeran Gopalan, Gokulam Gopalan, cartoonists Toms, Sukumar, Nathan, Medimix Anoop, K. A. Johny, and many other prominent personalities attended the function. During the ceremony, the K. S. Pillai Award was presented to cartoonist Peter.
