Kerala Cartoon Academy Events

Cartoon Corner. A library useful to cartoonists, those who study cartoons, media professionals, and cartoon enthusiasts had long been a dream of the Kerala Cartoon Academy. In collaboration with the EMS Library at Thrikkakara, one of the largest libraries in Kerala, the Academy succeeded in setting up a Cartoon Corner. The Cartoon Corner houses a vast collection of many valuable books on cartoons. On May 4, 2008, the Cartoon Corner was inaugurated by T.K.A. Nair, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, at a function held in the EMS Library Hall under the chairmanship of Adv. M. M. Monayi, Chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy. At the event, the Academy honored its founding Chairman, cartoonist Yesudasan, and senior cartoonists P. V. Krishnan, Siri, and Nathan by conferring upon them honorary membership of the Academy.
