Cartoonist George Kumbanad conferred honorary membership
Kerala Cartoon Academy conferred honorary membership on George Kumbanad; Agriculture Minister P. Prasad presented it. The Kerala Cartoon Academy conferred its honorary membership on George Kumbanad, who created the character Uppayi Mappila through his drawings. In a simple ceremony held at his residence in Kumbanad, Minister P. Prasad handed over the honorary membership plaque. The event was organized with the cooperation of the Pathanamthitta Press Club.
