Kerala Cartoon Academy Events

Cartoon Academy at KLF The Kerala Cartoon Academy also officially participated in the live caricature program at the DC Foundation's Kerala Literary Festival, held at Kozhikode Beach on January 23, 24, 25, and 26. Representing the Kerala Cartoon Academy were Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary A. Satheesh, Vice Chairmen Sajeev Balakrishnan and Anoop Radhakrishnan, Joint Secretary Sajeev Sooranad, Executive Committee members K.V.M. Unni, Madhus, Surendran Varachal, and members Ratheesh Ravi, Santhosh T.S., Ajoy Kumar D., Girish Pillai, and Shiju George.   Remembering cartoonist Rajendrakumar. A memorial event for cartoonist Rajendrakumar was organized at the Kozhikode Press Club Hall on January 23, 2025. The memorial ceremony was jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the Kozhikode Press Club. At the function, presided over by Kozhikode Press Club President E. P. Muhammad, Sukumaran Uroomb delivered the memorial speech. Writer V. R. Sudheesh shared his memories of Rajendrakumar and spoke at the event. Cartoonist Gopikrishnan released the Rajendrakumar memorial book prepared by the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Rajendrakumar’s wife, Mini, received the first copy. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath and Secretary A. Satheesh also participated in the event. As part of the program, a workshop on “Cartoon and Caricature” was also organized at the Kozhikode Press Club. Rajendrakumar's wife, Mini, received the first copy. കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് രജീന്ദ്രകുമാര്‍ അനുസ്മരണം കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ് ക്ലബ് ഹാളില്‍ 2025 ജനുവരി 23ന് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ് ക്ലബ്ബുമായി ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് അനുസ്മരണ ചടങ്ങ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് ഗോപികൃഷ്ണന്‍ കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ രജീന്ദ്രകുമാര്‍ ഓര്‍മ്മപ്പുസ്തകം എക്സിക്കുട്ടന്‍ പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു. രജീന്ദ്രകുമാറിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ മിനി ആദ്യ കോപ്പി ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
