Kerala Cartoon Academy Events

Cartoon lessons can now be learned on campus in Kerala. Kerala Cartoon Academy and Rajagiri College of Management and Sciences in Kochi have joined hands to implement the project. Although the country is famous for cartoon art, this is the first time that such an initiative has been undertaken in colleges.  Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath and Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Science Principal Dr. Lali Mathew signed a memorandum of understanding in this regard. Kerala Cartoon Academy Vice Chairman and Academy Convener Anoop Radhakrishnan, Ratheesh Ravi, Rajagiri College English Department representatives Geethu Johny, Dr. Neha Ani Varghese, Dr. Anju Maria Sebastian, Amala Manavalan and T. A. Subair also attended the function.  *Master Class: Launch of the Cartoons Initiative* On Thursday, June 25, a master class titled *"The Digital World and Lines"* was held at the YMCA Hall in Thiruvananthapuram. The *Cartoons* initiative, jointly launched by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and Toons Media Group, was inaugurated by Dr. B. Ashok IAS, Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary K. Satheesh, and representatives from Toons Animation—P.K. Vijayakumar, Karthik, and Vinod—also addressed the gathering. The master class proved highly beneficial for professionals working in animation, cartooning, and design by introducing modern technologies. Experts from their respective fields demonstrated how AI technology can enhance illustrations, showcased the latest techniques in animation, and introduced VFX. The new website of the Kerala Cartoon Academy www.keralacartoonacademy.com was inaugurated by the Minister for Higher Education, Shri Roji M. John. The function held at the Minister's office in the Kerala Legislative Assembly was attended by Academy member and Trithala MLA Shri V. T. Balram, Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheernath, Secretary A. Satheesh, Vice Chairman Anoop Radhakrishnan and Executive Committee Member Ratheesh Ravi.
