Cartoon Kochi 2016 For the first time in India, the Kerala Cartoon Academy organized a Cartoon and Caricature Festival in Kochi. As the first step of this initiative, an exhibition of election cartoons was launched at the Ernakulam Lalithakala Art Gallery on May 17, the day after the Kerala Legislative Assembly elections. The event was inaugurated by Minister K. Babu, and the Academy Chairman presided over the function. The Mayor of Kochi, CPM District Secretary P. Rajeev, BJP State Office Bearer K. N.
