Cartoonist P K Manthri's Cartoons Taken Over by the Academy More than 5,000 original cartoons by cartoonist P. K. Manthri, a pride of the Malayalam cartoon world, were handed over by his daughter-in-law Alli Sinilal and family members to Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairperson Sudheer Nath on January 28, 2026, at their home in Kulanada, Pandalam. Academy Secretary A. Satheesh, distinguished member E. P. Peter, executive committee member Mohana Kumaran Nair, Father Jose Punamadam, and Ullas Thomas, son of former Academy Secretary Thomas Antony, also attended the ceremony. The Kerala Cartoon Academy has decided to release a collection of cartoonist P. K. Manthri’s cartoons in the first week of March. Live Caricature Drawing at KLF. The Kerala Literature Festival was held in Kozhikode on January 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2026. As in the previous year, the Kerala Cartoon Academy took charge of the live caricature drawing sessions this year as well. The program was coordinated by Harish Mohan, Executive Committee Member of the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Live caricature drawing at the International Handicrafts Fair. Live caricature drawing was conducted at the 13th edition of the International Handicrafts Fair SIACF, held at Sargaalaya in Vadakara from December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026, in collaboration with the Kerala Cartoon Academy. The program was coordinated by Jayaraj T. G., a member of the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Jayaraj T. G. presented caricatures of Tourism Minister Riyas and Member of Parliament Shafi Parambil. Cartoonists Girish Makreri, Santhosh T.
