Cartoon Jaalakam launch ceremony
**Cartoon Jaalakam** With the aim of bringing out a high-quality cartoon magazine, the Cartoon Academy decided to publish a magazine titled *Cartoon Jaalakam*. The magazine's launch ceremony was held at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club on March 10, 2008. The Chief Minister of Kerala, V. S. Achuthanandan, released *Cartoon Jaalakam*. The first copy was received by Prof. K. V. Thomas, MLA. The function was presided over by Adv. M. M. Monayi, MLA, Chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Cartoonist Sukumar, Press Club President Sreekandan, and cartoonist Krishnakumar also spoke at the event. The inaugural issue, which featured a cartoon of the Minister for Cultural Affairs, attracted considerable media attention. കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ജാലകം. ലക്ഷണമൊത്ത കാര്ട്ടൂണ് മാസിക പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരണമെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യം വെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ജാലകം എന്ന മാസിക പുറത്തിറക്കുവാന് തീരുമാനിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. മാസികയുടെ പ്രകാശന ചടങ്ങ് തിരുവനന്തപുരം പ്രസ് ക്ലബ്ബില് 2008 മാര്ച്ച് 10-ാം തീയതി നടന്നു....
