Cartoonist Kerala Varma's Centenary
Kerala Varma's Centenary The centenary celebrations of Kerala Varma, a giant in the Indian cartooning field, commenced on September 22, 2024, at Udayamperoor S.N.D.P. Higher Secondary School. The event was jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the AKG Memorial Rural Library. Former Chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, Adv. M. M. Monayi, delivered the Kerala Varma memorial lecture. The centenary celebration of cartoonist Kerala Varma will continue for one year. At the function, presided over by T. Raghuvaran, patron of the AKG Memorial Rural Library, artist Binuraj Kalapeetham delivered the welcome address and library secretary Rajesh expressed the vote of thanks. Vice Chairmen of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, Sajeev Balakrishnan and Anoop Radhakrishnan, Treasurer Adv. P. U. Noushad, writer Vennala Mohanan, branch committee president L.
