Election Cartoon Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony The prizes were awarded to the winners of the Election Cartoon Competition jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and Toons Animation on June 10 at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club Hall. At a meeting chaired by Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, State Finance Minister K. N. Balagopal and Leader of the Opposition V. D. Satheesan jointly presented the awards. Jury members R. Radhakrishnan, Toons Animation Vice President Vinod A. S., Johnson, Ajith Kumar, and Cartoon Academy Secretary A. Satheesh spoke at the event. In the Junior category (up to 17 years of age), Alaka S. Jyothish won first place, Shreya Ramesh won second place, and Nived Menon won third place. In the Senior category (up to 25 years of age), Atul S. Raj won first place, Nila B. Coffee and Cartoons in Thiruvananthapuram On June 3, the concluding day of Electoons 2024 election cartoons, a program titled “Coffee and Cartoons” was organized. The event, where interesting experiences from the election campaign period were shared, received strong public support. Participants in the closing ceremony included Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Pannyan Raveendran, Binoy Viswam, E. M. Radha, Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary A. Exhibition of Election Cartoons in Thiruvananthapuram During the heated election season, a selection of humorous cartoons drawn by members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy was showcased in a two-day election cartoon exhibition titled *Electoons 2024*. The exhibition was organized on June 1, 2, and 3, 2024, at the Student Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the cultural organizations Kala and Coffee House Koottayma of Thiruvananthapuram. At the inauguration ceremony held at 11 a.m. on June 1, ministers V. Sivankutty and G. R. Anil, among others, participated. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary A. Satheesh, representatives of Kala Lalu Joseph and Shibu Appukuttan, and senior member of Coffee House Koottayma and veteran journalist Alex Vallakkalil also attended the function.
