Exhibition of Election Cartoons in Thiruvananthapuram
During the heated election season, a selection of humorous cartoons drawn by members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy was showcased in a two-day election cartoon exhibition titled *Electoons 2024*. The exhibition was organized on June 1, 2, and 3, 2024, at the Student Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the cultural organizations Kala and Coffee House Koottayma of Thiruvananthapuram.
At the inauguration ceremony held at 11 a.m. on June 1, ministers V. Sivankutty and G. R. Anil, among others, participated. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary A. Satheesh, representatives of Kala Lalu Joseph and Shibu Appukuttan, and senior member of Coffee House Koottayma and veteran journalist Alex Vallakkalil also attended the function.
Kerala Cartoon Academy Vice Chairman Anoop Radhakrishnan, Treasurer P. U. Naushad, Joint Secretary Sajeev Sooranad, Executive Committee members K. Unnikrishnan and Satheesh S. Konni, and senior cartoonists G. Hari, M. S. Mohanachandran, Madhu Omalloor, Gopidas, Prathapan Pulimath, Pandalam Babu, Alex Mannoor, Aneesh Thomson, Sunil Pankaj, Krishnakumar Vattapparambil, Mohana Kumaran, Narayanan, Rakesh P. Nair, Ratheesh K. R., Swathi Jayakumar, and others were present.
