Kerala Cartoon Academy Events

  Toon Craft Season 2 Season 2 of the two-day skill development cartoon camp, organized exclusively for members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was held on March 21 and 22, 2026, at the Thottumukham YMCA on the banks of the Periyar River in Aluva. Academy Executive Committee member and cartoonist Ratheesh Ravi served as the camp director. Thirty-nine members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy participated in the camp. The two-day skill development camp, led by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was organized as a prelude to the Election Cartoon Exhibition. On the first day, March 21, K. Unnikrishnan, former chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a senior cartoonist, spoke on the topic “The Journey of a Line,” discussing the stories behind cartoons and their origins. This was followed by the release of the book *Vimatha Shabdangal* (“Voices of Dissent”), written by Adv. Haridas Balakrishnan. The book *Voices of Dissent* by Adv. Haridas Balakrishnan, Executive Committee Member of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was released. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairperson Sudheer Nath released it at the Aluva camp by handing the first copy to Secretary A. Satheesh. The book has been published by the Academy’s publishing division. Adv. Haridas Balakrishnan and Toon Craft Camp Director Ratheesh Ravi participated in the function. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമിയുടെ നിര്‍വാഹക സമിതി അംഗം അഡ്വ: ഹരിദാസ ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍റെ വിമത ശബ്ദങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന പുസ്തകം പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി ചെയര്‍പേഴ്സണ്‍ സുധീര്‍ നാഥ് ആദ്യ കോപ്പി സെക്രട്ടറി എ. സതീഷിന് നല്‍കിയാണ് ആലുവ ക്യാമ്പില്‍ വെച്ച് പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തത്. അക്കാദമി പ്രസാധക വിഭാഗമാണ് പുസ്തകം പുറത്തിറക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.  അഡ്വ: ഹരിദാസ ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍, ടൂണ്‍ ക്രാഫ്റ്റ് ക്യാമ്പ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ രതീഷ് രവി എന്നിവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
