Kerala Cartoon Academy website launch

The new website of the Kerala Cartoon Academy www.keralacartoonacademy.com was inaugurated by the Minister for Higher Education, Shri Roji M. John. The function held at the Minister's office in the Kerala Legislative Assembly was attended by Academy member and Trithala MLA Shri V. T. Balram, Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheernath, Secretary A. Satheesh, Vice Chairman Anoop Radhakrishnan and Executive Committee Member Ratheesh Ravi.

A comprehensive portal has been prepared regarding all the activities of the Academy, including the history of the Academy, information about its members, deceased cartoonists, programs organized by the Academy, descriptions and pictures of programs conducted in the past, and the application link for new membership.

കേരള കാർട്ടൂൺ അക്കാദമിയുടെ പുതിയ വെബ്സൈറ്റ്, www.keralacartoonacademy.com ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ റോജി എം ജോൺ  ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. കേരള നിയമസഭയിൽ മന്ത്രിയുടെ ഓഫീസിൽ വച്ച് നടത്തിയ ചടങ്ങിൽ,  അക്കാദമി അംഗവും തൃത്താല എംഎൽഎയും ആയ ശ്രീ വി ടി ബൽറാം, കാർട്ടൂൺ അക്കാദമി ചെയർമാൻ സുധീർനാഥ്, സെക്രട്ടറി എ സതീഷ്, വൈസ് ചെയർമാൻ  അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ, നിർവാഹക സമിതി അംഗം രതീഷ് രവി എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

അക്കാദമിയുടെ ചരിത്രം, അംഗങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും, മൺമറഞ്ഞ കാർട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളെ ക്കുറിച്ചുമുള്ള വിവരങ്ങൾ, അക്കാദമി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പരിപാടികൾ, മുൻകാലങ്ങളിൽ നടത്തിയ പരിപാടികളുടെ വിവരണങ്ങളും ചിത്രങ്ങളും, പുതിയ അംഗത്വം എടുക്കുന്നതിനായി ഉള്ള അപേക്ഷ ലിങ്ക് തുടങ്ങി അക്കാദമിയുടെ എല്ലാവിധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും സംബന്ധിച്ച ഒരു സമഗ്രമായ പോർട്ടൽ ആണ് ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.

  Toon Craft Season 2 Season 2 of the two-day skill development cartoon camp, organized exclusively for members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was held on March 21 and 22, 2026, at the Thottumukham YMCA on the banks of the Periyar River in Aluva. Academy Executive Committee member and cartoonist Ratheesh Ravi served as the camp director. Thirty-nine members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy participated in the camp. The two-day skill development camp, led by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was organized as a prelude to the Election Cartoon Exhibition. On the first day, March 21, K. Unnikrishnan, former chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a senior cartoonist, spoke on the topic “The Journey of a Line,” discussing the stories behind cartoons and their origins. Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh

Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh at the annual general meeting held in Ernakulam. The chief guest, Father Justin Kaipadampadan, Managing Director of Sathyadeepam, draped him with a ceremonial shawl. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath presented a memento. Secretary A. Satheesh and Treasurer B. Sajeev Balakrishnan extended their greetings and witnessed the ceremony, along with prominent cartoonists from Kerala. The Kerala Cartoon Academy honored Davinchi Suresh in recognition of his unique achievements in the field of visual arts across one hundred different media. Davinchi Suresh is an artist who has brought his own responses to numerous social issues that occurred in Kerala over the past ten years before the public through his sculptural artworks.
