Remembering cartoonist Rajendrakumar.
A memorial event for cartoonist Rajendrakumar was organized at the Kozhikode Press Club Hall on January 23, 2025. The memorial ceremony was jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the Kozhikode Press Club. At the function, presided over by Kozhikode Press Club President E. P. Muhammad, Sukumaran Uroomb delivered the memorial speech. Writer V. R. Sudheesh shared his memories of Rajendrakumar and spoke at the event. Cartoonist Gopikrishnan released the Rajendrakumar memorial book prepared by the Kerala Cartoon Academy. Rajendrakumar’s wife, Mini, received the first copy. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath and Secretary A. Satheesh also participated in the event.
As part of the program, a workshop on “Cartoon and Caricature” was also organized at the Kozhikode Press Club. Sajeev Balakrishnan, Anoop Radhakrishnan, and Madhoos participated in the workshop and conducted classes.

കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് രജീന്ദ്രകുമാര് അനുസ്മരണം കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ് ക്ലബ് ഹാളില് 2025 ജനുവരി 23ന് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ് ക്ലബ്ബുമായി ചേര്ന്നാണ് അനുസ്മരണ ചടങ്ങ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ്ക്ലബ്ബ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഇ പി മുഹമ്മദ് അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനായ ചടങ്ങില് സുകുമാരന് ഉറൂമ്പ് അനുസ്മരണ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. സാഹിത്യകാരന് വി. ആര്. സുധീഷ് ചടങ്ങില് രജീന്ദ്രകുമാറുമായുള്ള ഓര്മ്മകള് പങ്കുവെച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു. കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് ഗോപികൃഷ്ണന് കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ രജീന്ദ്രകുമാര് ഓര്മ്മപ്പുസ്തകം ڇ എക്സിക്കുട്ടന് ڇ പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു. രജീന്ദ്രകുമാറിന്റെ ഭാര്യ മിനി ആദ്യ കോപ്പി ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്മാന് സുധീര് നാഥ്, സെക്രട്ടറി എ സതീഷ്, എന്നിവരും ചടങ്ങില് പങ്കെടുത്തു. കാര്ട്ടൂണും കാരിക്കേച്ചറും എന്ന വിഷയത്തില് കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രസ് ക്ലബ്ബില് ചടങ്ങിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ശില്പ്പശാലയും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. സജ്ജീവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്, അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്, മധൂസ് എന്നിവര് ശില്പ്പശാലയില് പങ്കെടുത്ത് ക്ലാസുകള് നയിച്ചു.
