Kerala Smiles Through Cartoons
As a prelude to the Kerala Cultural Congress, a live cartoon drawing event was organized on December 11, 2025, at the Darbar Hall Ground in Ernakulam. The program, titled “Kerala Reflected Through Cartoons,” was organized by the State Government, the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, and the Kerala Cartoon Academy, and was inaugurated by Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian. New developments including artificial intelligence, along with various contemporary issues, were humorously portrayed through lines on the canvas. Lalithakala Akademi Chairperson Murali Cheeroth, Coordinator Aji Adoor, and others were present.
Kerala Cartoon Academy Vice Chairman Anoop Radhakrishnan, Treasurer Sajeev Balakrishnan, and Cartoon Academy members Ratheesh Ravi, Jayaraj T. G., Girish M. P., Adv. Noushad P. U., Manoj Mathassheril, Santhosh T. S., and Ananthu participated in the cartoon drawing session. An exhibition of the creations was held in front of Darbar Hall for three days.
