The inauguration of Thomas Antony Chithrasmrithi and the release of the book *“Thomas Antony”* prepared by the Kerala Cartoon Academy were held on August 30, 2025, at the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Gallery in Kottayam. The Thomas Antony Memorial Caricature Cartoon Exhibition was inaugurated on the morning of August 30 by Chief Whip Dr. N. Jayaraj, under the chairmanship of Cartoon Academy Chairperson Sudhir Nath. Artist T. R. Udayakumar, D.C. Books Executive Director Rathima Ravi, Secretary A. Satheesh, Academy Distinguished Member E. P. Peter, Treasurer Sanjeev B., Vice Chairman K. V. M. Unni, CariTSoon 2025 Director P. U. Noushad, Joint Secretary Sajeev Sooranad, Executive Committee members Mohana Kumaran Nair, Vinu S., Sunil Pankaj, Ajoy Kumar D., Thomas Antony’s wife Molamma, son Ullas Thomas, daughter-in-law Dr. Jaslin Tomy, and others were present at the function.
At a ceremony held on the evening of August 30 at the D.C. Books Auditorium, Cooperation Minister V. N. Vasavan released the Thomas Antony memorial book. The first copy was received by Thomas Antony’s wife, Molamma. Advocate K. Francis George, MP, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, MLA, cartoonist A. P. Peter, and Sajeev Balakrishnan were present at the meeting chaired by Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairperson Sudhir Nath. Kerala Cartoon Academy Secretary A. Satheesh delivered the welcome address, and Vice Chairman K. V. M. Unni expressed the vote of thanks. It was noteworthy that Abitha Suresh, the granddaughter of P. S. Govindapillai, the creator of the first cartoon in Malayalam, was present in the audience. In the anti-drug cartoon competition jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the All India Malayali Association, Amal Rayhan Khalid, who won an encouragement award, received a certificate and a book bag from Minister V. N. Vasavan. Academy Vice Chairperson Anoop Radhakrishnan was also present. Ratheesh Ravi and Sajeev Balakrishnan drew caricatures for those who purchased the Thomas Antony book. The Thomas Antony Memorial Caricature Cartoon Exhibition concluded on September 12.

തോമസ് ആന്റണി ചിത്രസ്മ്യതി 2025 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 30 ന് ഉദ്ഘാടനവും, കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ 'തോമസ് ആന്റണി' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശനവും കോട്ടയത്തെ കേരള ലളിതകലാ അക്കാദമി ഗ്യാലറിയില് നടന്നു. തോമസ് ആന്റണി ചിത്രസ്മൃതി കാരിക്കേച്ചര് കാര്ട്ടൂണ് പ്രദര്ശനം കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്പേഴ്സന് സുധിര് നാഥിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില് ആഗസ്റ്റ് 30ന് രാവിലെ ചീഫ് വിപ്പ് ഡോ: എന്. ജയരാജ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു, ചടങ്ങില്, ആര്ട്ടിസ്റ്റ് ടി. ആര് . ഉദയകുമാര്, ഡി.സി. ബുക്സ് എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടര് രതിമ രവി, സെക്രട്ടറി എ സതീഷ്, അക്കാദമി വിശിഷ്ടാംഗം ഇ.പി. പീറ്റര്, ട്രഷറര് സഞ്ജീവ ബി വൈസ് ചെയര്മാന് കെ. വി. എം. ഉണ്ണി, കാരിട്ടൂണ് 2025 ഡയറക്ടര് പി.യു. നൗഷാദ്, ജോയിന്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി സജീവ് ശൂരനാട്, നിര്വ്വാഹക സമിതി അംഗങ്ങളായ മോഹന കുമാരന് നായര്, വിനു എസ്, സുനില് പങ്കജ്, അജോയ് കുമാര് ഡി, തോമസ് ആന്റണിയുടെ ഭാര്യ മോളമ്മ, മകന് ഉല്ലാസ് തോമസ്, മരുമകള് ഡോ. ജസ്ലിന് ടോമി തുടങ്ങിയവര് സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു.
ആഗസ്റ്റ് 30ന് വൈകീട്ട് ഡി.സി. ബുക്സ് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തില് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില് സഹകരണ മന്ത്രി വി. എന്. വാസവന് തോമസ് ആന്റണി ഓര്മ്മ പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം നിര്വ്വഹിച്ചു. ആദ്യ കോപ്പി തോമസ് ആന്റണിയുടെ ഭാര്യ മോളമ്മ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്പേഴ്സണ് സുധീര്നാഥ് അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച യോഗത്തില് അഡ്വ: കെ. ഫ്രാന്സിസ് ജോര്ജ് എം.പി, തിരുവഞ്ചൂര് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് എം.എല്.എ. കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ് എ പി പീറ്റര്, സജ്ജിവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവര് സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി എ. സതീഷ് സ്വാഗതവും വൈസ് ചെയര്മാന് കെ വി എം ഉണ്ണി നന്ദിയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു. സദസില് മലയാളത്തിലെ ആദ്യ കാര്ട്ടൂണിന്റെ രചയിതാവായ പി.എസ് ഗോവിന്ദപിള്ളയുടെ കൊച്ചുമകള് അബിത സുരേഷ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമിയും ആള് ഇന്ത്യ മലയാളി അസോസിയഷനുമായി ചേര്ന്ന് നടത്തിയ ലഹരിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് മത്സരത്തില് പ്രോത്സാഹന സമ്മാനത്തിന് അര്ഹമായ അമല് റയ്ഹാന് ഖാലിദിന് മന്ത്രി വി.എന് വാസവന് സര്ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റും പുസ്തക സഞ്ചിയും സമ്മാനിച്ചു. അക്കാദമി വൈസ് ചെയര്പേഴ്സണ് അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് സന്നിഹിതനായിരുന്നു. രതീഷ് രവിയും, സജ്ജീവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണനും തോമസ് ആന്റണി പുസ്തകം വാങ്ങിയവര്ക്ക് കാരിക്കേച്ചര് വരച്ച് നല്കി. തോമസ് ആന്റണി ചിത്രസ്മ്യതി കാരിക്കേച്ചര് കാര്ട്ടൂണ് പ്രദര്ശനം സെപ്തംബര് 12 ന് സമാപിച്ചു.
