Ernakulam YMCA Cartoon Camp

In collaboration with the Kerala Cartoon Academy, Ernakulam YMCA organized a cartoon camp on November 16 for students from 8th to 12th grade. The camp was inaugurated by entity["people","Loknath Behera","Managing Director of Kochi Metro Rail Corporation"], Managing Director of entity["company","Kochi Metro Rail Corporation","Kochi Metro operator"], at a function held in the Ernakulam YMCA Hall, presided over by Dr. Terry Thomas Edathotty, President of YMCA Ernakulam. Behera inaugurated the camp by teaching the children how to draw the Kochi Metro logo. The camp director was Sajeev Balakrishnan, Vice Chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a renowned caricaturist. Prominent cartoonists including Adv. P. U. Naushad, Anoop Radhakrishnan, Ratheesh Ravi, and Manoj Mathassheriyil provided cartoon training to the children.

എറണാകുളം വൈ.എം.സി.എ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ ക്യാമ്പ് 

കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമിയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് എറണാകുളം വൈ.എം.സി.എ എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് മുതല്‍ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസ് വരെയുള്ള കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കായി നവംബര്‍ 16ന് കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം വൈ.എം.സി.എ ഹാളില്‍ വൈഎംസിഎ എറണാകുളം പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ഡോ. ടെറി തോമസ് എടത്തൊട്ടി അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനായ ചടങ്ങില്‍ കൊച്ചി മെട്രോ റെയില്‍ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ എംഡി ലോക്നാഥ് ബെഹറ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ ക്യാമ്പ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. കൊച്ചി മെട്രോയുടെ ലോഗോ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വരച്ച് പഠിപ്പിച്ചാണ് ബഹറ ക്യാമ്പ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ചത്. ക്യാമ്പ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി വൈസ് ചെയര്‍മാനും പ്രമുഖ കാരിക്കേച്ചറിസ്റ്റുമായ സജ്ജീവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണനായിരുന്നു. അഡ്വ പി യു നൗഷാദ്, അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍, രതീഷ് രവി, മനോജ് മത്തശ്ശേരിയില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രമുഖ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ പരിശീലനം നല്‍കി.
