Three-Day Cartoon Conclave – Doodle Days
The three-day Cartoon Conclave – Doodle Days, jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the SH School of Communication, the media school of Sacred Heart College, Thevara, was held at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, on September 30 and October 1 and 2. On September 30 at 10:00 a.m., Union Minister George Kurian inaugurated the conclave. Renowned cartoonist Ravishankar, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Chairperson Murali Cheeroth, Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, CMI Kochi Provincial Superior Father Benny Nalkara, Sacred Heart Institutions Manager Fr. Varghese Kachappilly, Sacred Heart College Principal Dr. C. S. Biju, SH School of Communication Director Babu Joseph, and Cartoon Conclave Director Anoop Radhakrishnan spoke at the event.
On the first day, classes were led by Aditi Krishnadas, Ratheesh Ravi, and Sajeev Balakrishnan. In the panel discussion held on the morning of the second day, Advocate Sebastian Paul, cartoonist Ravishankar, Babu Joseph, and K. Unnikrishnan participated. This was followed by a session titled “From Graphic Novel to Animation,” conducted by National Film Award winner Joshy Benedict. The live cartoon and caricature drawing event held at Gandhi Smrithi was inaugurated by Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian. Lalithakala Akademi Secretary Balamuralikrishna was the chief guest.
On the third day of Doodle Days, Dr. P. Vinayakumar, Sudheer Nath, and Anoop Radhakrishnan participated in a panel discussion held in the morning. Shabarish Ravi, an expert in the field of AI, interacted with the camp participants on the topic “Artistic Intelligence versus Artificial Intelligence.” Selected students from various colleges across Kerala participated in the conclave with the support of the Young Communicators Club, the youth wing of the Public Relations Council of India.

കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമിയും, തേവര സേക്രഡ് ഹാര്ട്ട് കോളേജിലെ മീഡിയ സ്കൂളായ എസ് എച്ച് സ്കൂള് ഓഫ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷനും സംയുക്തമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ത്രി ദിന കാര്ട്ടൂണ് കോണ്ക്ലേവ് -ഡൂഡില് ഡേയ്സ് സെപ്റ്റംബര് 30, ഒക്ടോബര് 1, 2 തിയതികളില് തേവര സേക്രഡ് ഹാര്ട്ട് കോളേജില് വെച്ച് നടത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. സെപ്റ്റംബര് 30 ന് രാവിലെ 10:00 മണിക്ക് കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രി ജോര്ജ് കുര്യന് കോണ്ക്ലേവിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്വഹിച്ചു. പ്രശസ്ത കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് രവിശങ്കര്, കേരള ലളിതകലാ അക്കാദമി ചെയര്പേഴ്സണ് മുരളി ചീരോത്ത്, കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്മാന് സുധീര്നാഥ്, സി എം ഐ കൊച്ചി പ്രൊവിന്ഷ്യല് സുപ്പീരിയര് ഫാദര് ബെന്നി നല്ക്കര, സേക്രഡ് ഹാര്ട്ട് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂഷന്സിന്റെ മാനേജര് ഫാ. വര്ഗീസ് കാച്ചപ്പിള്ളി, സേക്രഡ് ഹാര്ട്ട് കോളേജ് പ്രിന്സിപ്പല് ഡോ. സി എസ് ബിജു, എസ് എച്ച് സ്കൂള് ഓഫ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷന് ഡയറക്ടര് ബാബു ജോസഫ്, കാര്ട്ടൂണ് കോണ്ക്ലേവ് ഡയറക്ടര് അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവര് സംസാരിച്ചു. ആദ്യ ദിവസം അദിതി കൃഷ്ണദാസ്, രതീഷ് രവി, സജ്ജീവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവരാണ് ക്ലാസുകള് നയിച്ചത്. രണ്ടാം ദിവസം രാവിലെ നടന്ന പാനല് ചര്ച്ചയില് അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന് പോള്, കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് രവിശങ്കര്, ബാബു ജോസഫ്, കെ ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവര് പങ്കെടുത്തു. തുടര്ന്ന് നടന്ന ക്ലാസില് ഗ്രാഫിക്ക് നോവല് മുതല് ആനിമേഷന് വരെ എന്ന വിഷയത്തില് ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാര്ഡ് ജേതാവായ ജോഷി ബെനഡിക്റ്റ് സംവാദം നടത്തി. ഗാന്ധി സ്മൃതിയില് നടന്ന തല്സമയ കാര്ട്ടൂണ്, കാരിക്കേച്ചര് രചന സാംസ്കാരിക വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി സജി ചെറിയാനാണ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. ലളിത കലാ അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി ബാലമുരളീകൃഷ്ണ മുഖ്യ അതിഥിയായിരുന്നു. ഡ്യൂഡില് ഡേയ്സിന്റെ മൂന്നാം ദിവസം രാവിലെ നടന്ന പാനല് ചര്ച്ചയില് ഡോക്ടര് പി വിനയകുമാര്, സുധീര്നാഥ്, അനുപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവര് പങ്കെടുത്തു. ആര്ട്ടിസ്റ്റിക് ഇന്റലിജന്സ് വേഴ്സസ് ആര്ട്ടിഫിഷ്യല് ഇന്റലിജന്സ് എന്ന വിഷയത്തില് എഐ രംഗത്തെ വിദഗ്ധനായ ശബരീഷ് രവി ക്യാമ്പിലെ അംഗങ്ങളുമായി സംവദിച്ചു. പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷന്സ് കൗണ്സില് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ യുവജന വിഭാഗമായ യങ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേറ്റേഴ്സ് ക്ലബ്ബിന്റെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ കേരളത്തിലെ വിവിധ കോളേജുകളില് നിന്നുള്ള തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികളാണ് കോണ്ക്ലേവില് പങ്കെടുത്തത്.
