Two-Day Cartoon Camp for Children
On August 24, the Kerala Cartoon Academy and Chavara Cultural Centre jointly launched a two-day cartoon camp for children. The camp was inaugurated in the morning by Agriculture Minister P. Prasad. Chavara Cultural Centre Director Fr. Anil Philip CMI presided over the function. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath delivered the welcome address, and Secretary A. Satheesh gave the vote of thanks. Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Vice Chairman Eby Joseph extended his greetings. Academy Vice Chairman Sajeev Balakrishnan served as the camp director.
Sixty children from different parts of Kerala participated in the camp. Ratheesh Ravi, Prathapan Pulimath, and Surendran Varachal conducted classes on the first day. Child filmmakers attended the first day of the camp. The participants who presented their animation films at the children's camp were Aiswar Varghese Mathew (St. John’s JSHS), Adil Kasim (TMHS, Thrikkadeeri, Palakkad), Chinmay B. (KNMMAMHS, Kattukulam, Palakkad), and Advaith S. Krishna (SNHSS, Poothadi, Wayanad). They shared their interesting experiences in filmmaking with the children at the cartoon camp.
KITE CEO K. Anvar Sadath and C-DIT Chief Animator Sudheer P.Y. also spoke at the event. On the second day of the children’s cartoon camp, August 25, Prasannan Aanikkad, Vinu S., and Anoop Radhakrishnan conducted classes. The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Industries Minister P. Rajeeve.

ആഗസ്റ്റ് 24 ന് കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമിയും ചാവറ കള്ച്ചറല് സെന്ററും ചേര്ന്ന് കുട്ടികളുടെ രണ്ടു ദിന കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ക്യാമ്പിന് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ക്യാമ്പ് രാവിലെ കൃഷി മന്ത്രി പി പ്രസാദ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ചാവറ കള്ച്ചറല് സെന്റര് ഡയറക്ടര് ഫാ. അനില് ഫിലിപ്പ് സി എം ഐ അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്മാന് സുധീര് നാഥ് സ്വാഗതവും സെക്രട്ടറി എ സതീഷ് നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു. കേരള ലളിത കലാ അക്കാദമി വൈസ് ചെയര്മാന് എബി ജോസഫ് ആശംസകള് നേര്ന്നു. അക്കാദമി വൈസ് ചെയര്മാന് സജ്ജീവ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണനായിരുന്നു ക്യാമ്പ് ഡയറക്ടര്. കേരളത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ള 60 കുട്ടികളാണ് ക്യാമ്പില് പങ്കെടുത്തത്. രതീഷ് രവി, പ്രതാപന് പുളിമാത്ത്, സുരേന്ദ്രന് വാരച്ചാല് എന്നിവര് ആദ്യ ദിവസം ക്ലാസുകള് നയിച്ചു. കുട്ടികളുടെ ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ ആദ്യ ദിവസം കുട്ടി സംവിധായകരെത്തി. കുട്ടികളുടെ ക്യാമ്പില് തങ്ങളുടെ അനിമേഷന് സിനിമകളുമായി എത്തിയത് ഐസ്വര് വര്ഗീസ് മാത്യു (സെയ്ന്റ് ജോണ്സ് ജെ.എസ്.എച്ച് .എസ്), ആദില് കാസിം (ടി.എം.എച്ച്.എസ്, തൃക്കടീരി, പാലക്കാട്) ചിന്മയ്ബി (കെ.എന്.എം.എം.എ.എം.എച്ച്.എസ് കാട്ടുകുളം, പാലക്കാട്), അദ്വൈത് എസ് കൃഷ്ണ (എസ്.എന്.എച്ച്.എസ്.എസ്, പൂതാടി, വയനാട്) എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. തങ്ങളുടെ രസകരമായ സിനിമാനുഭവങ്ങള് കുട്ടികളുടെ കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ക്യാമ്പില് പങ്കുവെച്ചത്. കൈറ്റ് സിഇഒ കെ അന്വര് സാദത്ത്, സീഡിറ്റ് ചീഫ് അനിമേറ്റര് സുധീര് പി.വൈ എന്നിവര് സംസാരിച്ചു. കുട്ടികളുടെ കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ രണ്ടാം ദിവസമായ ആഗസ്റ്റ് 25 ന് പ്രസന്നന് ആനിക്കാട്, വിനു.എസ്,അനൂപ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന് എന്നിവര് ക്ലാസെടുത്തു. സമാപന സമ്മേളനം വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രി പി രാജീവ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
