CariToon 2024
CariToon 2024, organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was held from August 21 to 25, 2024, at Ernakulam Durbar Hall Art Gallery, the Kerala High Court, and Chavara Cultural Centre. Academy member and renowned caricaturist Ratheesh Ravi was the director of CariToon 24. CariToon began on 21-08-2024 at 12 noon with a traditional feast attended by ISRO Chairman Dr. S. Somanath. At 4:00 PM, Dr. S. Somanath officially inaugurated CariToon 2024 at the Ernakulam Durbar Hall Art Gallery.
The event was organized until August 25 with the cooperation of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi and Chavara Cultural Centre. It attracted considerable attention as it was held ahead of the national celebration of the first anniversary of India’s Chandrayaan success and National Space Day in Delhi on August 23. He said that such scientific achievements should be promoted more widely, especially in educational institutions.

കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ഒരുക്കിയ കാരിട്ടൂണ് 2024 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 21 മുതല് 25 വരെ എറണാകുളം ദര്ബാര് ഹാള് ആര്ട്ട് ഗ്യാലറി, കേരള ഹൈകോടതി, ചാവറ കള്ച്ചറല് സെന്റര് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായി നടന്നു. അക്കാദമി അംഗവും പ്രശസ്ത കാരിക്കേച്ചറിസ്റ്റുമായ രതീഷ് രവി ആയിരുന്നു കാരിട്ടൂണ് 24ന്റെ ഡയറക്ടര്. 21-08-2024 ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12 ന് ഐ.എസ്.ആര്.ഒ ചെയര്മാന് ഡോ: എസ് സോമനാഥിനൊപ്പം സദ്യ ഒരുക്കിയാണ് കാരിട്ടൂണ് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. എറണാകുളം ദര്ബാര് ഹാള് ആര്ട്ട് ഗ്യാലറിയില് വൈകീട്ട് 4.00 മണിക്ക് കാരിട്ടൂണ് ഐ.എസ്.ആര്.ഒ ചെയര്മാന് ഡോ: എസ് സോമനാഥ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്വ്വഹിച്ചു. കേരള ലളിതകലാ അക്കാദമി, ചാവറ കള്ച്ചറല് സെന്റര് എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടു കൂടിയാണ് പരിപാടി ആഗസ്റ്റ് 25 വരെ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ڇ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ചന്ദ്രയാന് വിജയത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം വാര്ഷികം ആഗസ്റ്റ് 23 ന് ദേശിയ ബഹിരാകാശ ദിനം ഡല്ഹിയില് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ മുന്പേ നടന്ന പരിപാടി എന്ന നിലയില് ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില് ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് ഇത്തരം ശാസ്ത്ര കാര്യങ്ങള് നാം കൂടുതല് പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കണമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. കാരിട്ടൂണ് ഡയറക്ടര് രതീഷ് രവി, സ്വിറ്റ്സര്ലാന്ഡ് എംബസി ഡപ്യൂട്ടി കോണ്സല് ജനറല് പാട്രിക് മുള്ളര് എന്നിവര് സംസാരിച്ചു. കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ചെയര്മാന് സുധീര്നാഥ് സ്വാഗതവും സെക്രട്ടറി എ. സതീഷ് നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു. ഞെരളത്ത് ഹരിഗോവിന്ദന്, ബാലുശ്ശേരി കൃഷ്ണദാസ് എന്നിവര് അവതരിപ്പിച്ച സോപാന സംഗീതത്തോട് കൂടിയായിരുന്നു ചടങ്ങിന് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്.
