Exhibition of Election Cartoons in Kottayam
During the heated election season, a two-day election cartoon exhibition titled *Electoons 2024* was held on May 21 and 22, 2024, at the Kottayam Press Club Hall. The exhibition featured selected cartoons from the entertaining works drawn by members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy.
The inaugural function held at the Kottayam Press Club Hall was attended by Cooperation Minister V. N. Vasavan, Chief Whip Dr. Jayaraj, former minister and MLA Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, former Chief Whip P. C. George, Deepika Associate Editor George Kallivayalil, Press Club President Joseph Sebastian, Secretary Robin Thomas Panicker, N. Hari, Adv. K. Anil Kumar, Kerala Cartoon Academy Secretary A. Satheesh, Vice Chairman Anoop Radhakrishnan, Treasurer P. U. Noushad, Joint Secretary Sajeev Shoranad, executive committee members Anil Vega and Subhash Kalloor, and senior cartoonists E. P. Peter, Prasannan Anikkad, Shiva, Sathyadev, Ajo Kaytharam, Sunil Pankaj, Rojin, Ramadevi, Mohana Kumaran, and others.
As part of the event, a discussion was also held between cartoonists, political activists, and media professionals. The event was coordinated by Anil Vega, a member of the Cartoon Academy’s executive committee.
