41st AGM -Kerala Cartoon Academy

On November 27, 2022, the 41st annual general meeting of the Kerala Cartoon Academy was held at Ibook Hall near Ernakulam North Railway Station. The function was presided over by Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman K. Unnikrishnan, and cartoonist Sukumar was the chief guest. Academy Secretary Anoop Radhakrishnan and Treasurer A. Satheesh also participated in the event.

2022 നവംബര്‍ 27 ന് എറണാകുളം നോര്‍ത്ത് റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷന് സമീപമുള്ള ഐബോക്ക് ഹാളില്‍ 41 ാമത് കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമിയുടെ വാര്‍ഷിക പൊതുയോഗം കൂടി. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ കെ. ഉണ്ണിക്യഷ്ണന്‍ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച ചടങ്ങില്‍ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് സുകുമാര്‍ മുഖ്യ അതിഥിയായിരുന്നു. അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി അനൂപ് രാധാക്യഷ്ണന്‍, ട്രഷറര്‍ എ സതീഷ് എന്നിവരും ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

  AIMA Kerala Cartoon Academy Cartoon Competition Results The results of the traffic awareness cartoon competition jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy and the All India Malayali Association (AIMA) for school and college students as well as young cartoonists have been announced. The theme of the competition was chosen with the aim of promoting an accident-free new academic year. Every academic year, many lives are lost in accidents. The cartoon competition was organized with children's participation to raise awareness and help prevent such tragedies. The jury consisted of K. Chellan Receives Distinguished Membership On August 1, 2024, the Kerala Cartoon Academy conferred Distinguished Membership on senior cartoonist Chellan. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath personally visited his home in Kottayam and presented the Distinguished Membership to cartoonist Chellan. The honor was awarded in recognition of the overall contributions of cartoonist Chellan (T.P. Philip) to the field of cartooning, having drawn for various publications over a long period and left a distinct mark on Kerala’s art scene. Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Secretary Balamuralikrishnan, senior journalist P.O. Mohan, Cartoon Academy executive committee members Baiju Paulose, Anil Vega, Subhash K.K., senior cartoonist E.P. Coffee and Cartoons in Thiruvananthapuram On June 3, the concluding day of Electoons 2024 election cartoons, a program titled “Coffee and Cartoons” was organized. The event, where interesting experiences from the election campaign period were shared, received strong public support. Participants in the closing ceremony included Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Pannyan Raveendran, Binoy Viswam, E. M. Radha, Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath, Secretary A.
