Traffic Awareness Cartoon Exhibition

As part of Traffic Day on January 9, 2016, the Kerala Cartoon Academy, in association with the District Motor Vehicles Department and the Road Safety Department, organized a Traffic Awareness Cartoon Exhibition at St. Paul's College, Kalamassery. A live caricature drawing session attracted considerable attention. Minister Ibrahim Kunju, Professor K. V. Thomas MP, Transport Commissioner Tomin J. Thachankary, Justice Radhakrishnan, and others attended the event. Academy Chairman Prasannan Aanikkad, Vice Chairman K. Unnikrishnan, Treasurer M. S. Mohanachandran, and cartoonists Anjan Satheesh, B. Sajeev, Aravindan, Anoop Radhakrishnan, Madhoos, Sinilal, Santhosh T. S., Karthika Kattanam, Badusha, Basheer Kizhisseri, and others participated.

ട്രാഫിക്ക് ബോധവത്ക്കരണ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശനം

2016 ജനുവരി 9ന് ട്രാഫിക്ക് ദിനത്തേിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായി കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി ട്രാഫിക്ക് ബോധവത്ക്കരണ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശനം ജില്ലാ മോട്ടോര്‍ വാഹന വകുപ്പും, റോഡ് സേഫ്റ്റി വകുപ്പുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് കളമശ്ശേരി സെന്‍റ് പോള്‍സ് കോളേജില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. തത്സമയ കാരിക്കേച്ചര്‍ രചന ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. മന്ത്രി ഇബ്രാഹിം കുഞ്ഞ്, പ്രൊഫസര്‍ കെ വി തോമസ് എംപി, ട്രാന്‍സ്പോര്‍ട്ട് കമ്മിഷ്ണര്‍ ടോമിന്‍ തച്ചങ്കേരി, ജസ്റ്റിസ് രാധാക്യഷ്ണന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. അക്കാദമി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ പ്രസന്നന്‍ ആനിക്കാട്, വൈസ് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ കെ ഉണ്ണിക്യഷ്ണന്‍, ട്രഷറര്‍ എം എസ് മോഹനചന്ദ്രന്‍, അന്‍ജന്‍ സതീഷ്, ബി സജ്ജീവ്, അരവിന്ദന്‍, അനൂപ് രാധാക്യഷ്ണന്‍, മധൂസ്, സിനിലാല്‍, സന്തോഷ് ടി എസ്, കാര്‍ത്തിക കറ്റാനം, ബാദുഷ, ബഷീര്‍ കിഴിശ്ശേരി, തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

  Toon Craft Season 2 Season 2 of the two-day skill development cartoon camp, organized exclusively for members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was held on March 21 and 22, 2026, at the Thottumukham YMCA on the banks of the Periyar River in Aluva. Academy Executive Committee member and cartoonist Ratheesh Ravi served as the camp director. Thirty-nine members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy participated in the camp. The two-day skill development camp, led by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was organized as a prelude to the Election Cartoon Exhibition. On the first day, March 21, K. Unnikrishnan, former chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a senior cartoonist, spoke on the topic “The Journey of a Line,” discussing the stories behind cartoons and their origins. Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh

Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh at the annual general meeting held in Ernakulam. The chief guest, Father Justin Kaipadampadan, Managing Director of Sathyadeepam, draped him with a ceremonial shawl. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath presented a memento. Secretary A. Satheesh and Treasurer B. Sajeev Balakrishnan extended their greetings and witnessed the ceremony, along with prominent cartoonists from Kerala. The Kerala Cartoon Academy honored Davinchi Suresh in recognition of his unique achievements in the field of visual arts across one hundred different media. Davinchi Suresh is an artist who has brought his own responses to numerous social issues that occurred in Kerala over the past ten years before the public through his sculptural artworks.
