In memory of O. V. Vijayan, a distinguished member of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a veteran cartoonist, cartoonists gathered at his beloved Santhigiri Ashram from September 11 to 12. During the two-day event, more than forty cartoonists drew caricatures of visitors who came to the Santhigiri Ashram. Cartoonists including Toms, Sukumar, P. V. Krishnan, Nathan, as well as cartoonists from outside Kerala such as Prashant Kulkarni, Uday Shankar, and Gujjarappa, participated. An exhibition of O. V. Vijayan's cartoons was also organized. The programs were led by Chairman Prasannan Anikkad and Secretary Sudheer Nath.
