On August 22, 2010, in recognition of the talents of Sajeev, a member of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and India's fastest cartoonist, a special event titled *Uthradapachil* was organized at Thrikkakara on the day of Uthradam. A family gathering of cartoonists was also held there on the same day. It was during this event that cartoonist Sajeev qualified for inclusion in the Limca Book of Records by drawing 652 caricatures continuously over 12 hours.

Among those who attended the event were Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran, Charles Dias MP, M. M. Monayi, K. Babu MLA, cartoonists Toms, Yesudasan, P. V. Krishnan, Siri, Nathan, and more than 45 other cartoonists, as well as T. P. M. Ibrahim Khan and film actors Janardhanan, Vinu Mohan, Govindankutty, Ponnamma Babu, and others.

As part of the Onam celebrations, an Onam feast was arranged for the cartoonists. It became a joyful gathering that celebrated friendship.

2010 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 22 കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി അംഗവും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ എറ്റവും വേഗതയേറിയ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുമായ സജ്ജീവിന്‍റെ കഴിവുകളുടെ അംഗീകാരമായി ഉത്രാടപാച്ചില്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ ഉത്രാടദിവസം ത്യക്കാക്കരയില്‍ വേദി ഒരുക്കി.  കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ കുടുംബ സംഗമവും അന്നേദിവസം ത്യക്കാക്കരയില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. 12 മണിക്കൂര്‍ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി 652 കാരിക്കേച്ചറുകള്‍ വരച്ച കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് സജ്ജീവ് ലിംക്കാ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോഡ്സില്‍ ഇടം നേടാന്‍ യോഗ്യതനേടിയത് ഈ ചടങ്ങിലാണ്. മന്ത്രി കടന്നപ്പള്ളി രാമചന്ദ്രന്‍, ചാള്‍സ് ഡയസ് എം പി, എം എം മോനായി, കെ ബാബു എം എല്‍ എ, കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് റ്റോംസ്, യേശുദാസന്‍, പി വി ക്യഷ്ണന്‍, സീരി, നാഥന്‍, തുടങ്ങി 45ല്‍ പരം കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളും, ടി പി എം ഇബ്രാഹിം ഖാന്‍, ചലചിത്ര താരങ്ങളായ ജനാര്‍ദ്ധനന്‍, വിനു മോഹന്‍, ഗോവിന്ദന്‍കുട്ടി, പൊന്നമ്മ ബാബു,  തുടങ്ങിയവരും ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഓണത്തിന്‍റെ ഓര്‍മ്മകളില്‍ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റകള്‍ക്ക് ഓണസദ്യ ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു. സൗഹൃദത്തിന്‍റെ സന്തോഷത്തിന്‍റ സംഗമവേദിയായി അത്.

  Toon Craft Season 2 Season 2 of the two-day skill development cartoon camp, organized exclusively for members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was held on March 21 and 22, 2026, at the Thottumukham YMCA on the banks of the Periyar River in Aluva. Academy Executive Committee member and cartoonist Ratheesh Ravi served as the camp director. Thirty-nine members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy participated in the camp. The two-day skill development camp, led by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, was organized as a prelude to the Election Cartoon Exhibition. On the first day, March 21, K. Unnikrishnan, former chairman of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and a senior cartoonist, spoke on the topic “The Journey of a Line,” discussing the stories behind cartoons and their origins. Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh

Kerala Cartoon Academy honored its member Davinchi Suresh at the annual general meeting held in Ernakulam. The chief guest, Father Justin Kaipadampadan, Managing Director of Sathyadeepam, draped him with a ceremonial shawl. Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Sudheer Nath presented a memento. Secretary A. Satheesh and Treasurer B. Sajeev Balakrishnan extended their greetings and witnessed the ceremony, along with prominent cartoonists from Kerala. The Kerala Cartoon Academy honored Davinchi Suresh in recognition of his unique achievements in the field of visual arts across one hundred different media. Davinchi Suresh is an artist who has brought his own responses to numerous social issues that occurred in Kerala over the past ten years before the public through his sculptural artworks.
