Cartoon camp for children's @ Shooranad
The Kerala Cartoon Academy, jointly with the Sooranad North Grama Panchayat and the PTA of Sooranad Government Higher Secondary School, organized a one-day district cartoon workshop on August 1, 2010, at the hall of Sooranad Government Higher Secondary School.
At the Kollam cartoon workshop, renowned cartoonists including Toms, Sukumar, Nathan, S. Mohan, Prasannan Aanikkad, Sajeev, Suresh N., Abba Vazhoor, and Shaji Mathew, along with office bearers and members of the Cartoon Academy and other prominent cartoonists, participated and shared their experiences. Cartoonist Karthika Kattanam served as the camp director.
കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ശൂരനാട് വടക്ക് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെയും ശൂരനാട് ഗവ:ഹയര്സെക്കന്ററി സകൂള് പി.ടി.എ യുടെയും സംയുക്താഭിമുഖ്യത്തില് എകദിന ജില്ലാ കാര്ട്ടൂണ് പഠന കളരി 2010 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 1 ന് ശൂരനാട് ഗവ:ഹയര് സെക്കന്ററി സകൂള് ഹാളില് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം കാര്ട്ടൂണ് പഠന കളരിയില് പ്രശസ്ത കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളായ റ്റോംസ്, സുകുമാര്, നാഥന്, എസ്സ് മോഹന്, പ്രസന്നന് ആനിക്കാട്, സജ്ജീവ്, സുരേഷ് എന്, അബ്ബ വാഴൂര്, ഷാജി മാത്യു തുടങ്ങി കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി ഭാരവാഹികളും, അംഗങ്ങളുമടക്കം പ്രമുഖ കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകള് പങ്കെടുത്ത് അനുഭവങ്ങള് പങ്കുവെയ്ച്ചു. കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് കാര്ത്തിക കറ്റാനമായിരുന്നു ക്യാമ്പ് ഡയറക്ടര്.
