Aniyug 2010

The third Cartoon-Animation Fest, Aniyug 2010, was held on February 28 and March 1, 2010, at two venues—the Thrikkakara EMS Cooperative Library and the Kerala Press Academy—with the aim of opening up opportunities for cartoonists in the field of animation. Renowned film director Sashi Paravoor served as the director of Aniyug.

On February 28, the inaugural ceremony was held at the Thrikkakara EMS Cooperative Library Hall, where renowned film actor Salim Kumar inaugurated Cartoon-Animation Fest Aniyug 2010. The function was presided over by M. M. Monayi, MLA. Member of Parliament Charles Dias, Ernakulam District Cooperative Bank General Manager Banu, film director Robin Thirumala, Press Academy Secretary Roy, Director Ramachandran, Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Prasannan, Secretary Sudheer Nath, Vice Chairman Balu, cartoonist Naushad, and others addressed the gathering. Aniyug 2010 was jointly organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, Toon Arts India, the Kerala Press Academy, the Thrikkakara EMS Cooperative Library, and the Department of Information and Broadcasting.

On the second day, March 1, Cartoon-Animation Fest Aniyug was held at the Kerala Press Academy Hall. The program included an open forum explaining the technical aspects of animation, discussions, interactive sessions, and screenings of cartoon and animation films. Aniyug 2010 shed light on the immense possibilities of animation and the latest animation technologies. Academy Secretary Sudheer Nath and Vice Chairman Balu provided leadership for the event.

A notable highlight was the presentation by renowned film actor and researcher Ravindran, who introduced various animated films from around the world. This was followed by sessions on the secrets of 2D animation by the well-known animator Cyber and Dilesh. Some of India's leading animators, cartoonists, and film professionals also participated and spoke about various aspects of the animation industry, providing great benefit to those who attended Aniyug. A total of 148 delegates participated in Aniyug 2010, and admission was completely free.

2010 ഫെബ്രുവരി 28, മാര്‍ച്ച് 1 തീയതികളില്‍ അനിമേഷന്‍ രംഗത്ത് കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ അവസരങ്ങള്‍ തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കാന്‍ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് നടത്തുന്ന മൂന്നാമത് കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍-അനിമേഷന്‍ ഫെസ്റ്റ് അനിയുഗ് 2010,   തൃക്കാക്കര ഇ.എം.എസ്. സഹകരണ ലൈബ്രറി, കേരള പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമി എന്നീ രണ്ട് വേദികളിലായി നടന്നു. പ്രശസ്ത ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകന്‍ ശശി പരവൂരാണ് അനിയുഗിന്‍റെ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ആയിരുന്നത്. 

28ന് തൃക്കാക്കര ഇ.എം.എസ്. സഹകരണ ലൈബ്രറി ഹാളില്‍ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ പ്രശസ്ത ചലചിത്രതാരം സലിംകുമാര്‍ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍-അനിമേഷന്‍ ഫെസ്റ്റ് അനിയുഗ് 2010, ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ചടങ്ങില്‍ എം എം മോനായി എം എല്‍ എ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റ് അംഗം ചാള്‍സ് ഡയസ്, എറണാകുളം ജില്ലാ സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് ജനറല്‍ മാനേജര്‍ ബാനു, ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകന്‍ റോബിന്‍ തിരുമല, പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി റോയ്, ഡയറക്ടര്‍ രാമചന്ദ്രന്‍, കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ പ്രസന്നന്‍, സെക്രട്ടറി സുധീര്‍നാഥ്, വൈസ് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ ബാലു, കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റ് നൗഷാദ് തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു. കേരള കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാദമി, ടൂണ്‍ ആര്‍ട്ട്സ് ഇന്ത്യ, കേരള പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമി, തൃക്കാക്കര ഇ.എം.എസ്. സഹകരണ ലൈബ്രറി, ഇന്‍ഫര്‍മേഷന്‍ ആന്‍റ് ബ്രോഡ്കാസ്റ്റിംഗ് വകുപ്പ് എന്നിവര്‍ സംയുക്തമായാണ് അനിയുഗ് 2010 സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. 

രണ്ടാം ദിവസമായ മാര്‍ച്ച് 1 ന് കേരള പ്രസ്സ് അക്കാദമി ഹാളിലായിരുന്നു കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍-അനിമേഷന്‍ ഫെസ്റ്റ് അനിയുഗ് നടന്നത്. അനിമേഷന്‍റെ സാങ്കേതിക വശങ്ങള്‍ വിശദീകരിക്കുന്ന ഓപ്പണ്‍ഫോറവും, ചര്‍ച്ചകളും, മുഖാമുഖവും, കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍-അനിമേഷന്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ പ്രദര്‍ശനവും പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. അനിമേഷന്‍റെ അനന്തസാധ്യതകളിലേക്കും അതി നൂതന അനിമേഷന്‍ ടെക്നോളജിയിലേക്കും വെളിച്ചം വീശുന്നതായിരുന്നു അനിയുഗ് 2010. അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി സുധീര്‍നാഥ്, വൈസ് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ ബാലു, എന്നിവര്‍ നേത്യത്ത്വം നല്‍കി.

പ്രശസ്ത ചലച്ചിത്ര താരവും റിസേര്‍ച്ചറുമായ രവീന്ദ്രന്‍ അനിമേഷന്‍ ലോകത്തെ വിവിധ അനിമേഷന്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത് ശ്രദ്ദേയമായി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് 2ഡി അനിമേഷന്‍റെ രഹസ്യങ്ങളുമായി പ്രശസ്ത അനിമേറ്റര്‍ സൈബര്‍, ദിലേഷ്, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രശ്സതരായ അനിമേറ്റര്‍മാരും, കാര്‍ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളും, ചലചിത്ര പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും, പരിപാടിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത് അനിമേഷന്‍ രംഗത്തെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളെ കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചത് അനിയുഗില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തവര്‍ക്ക് എറെ പ്രയോജനം ചെയ്തു. 148 ഡെലിഗേറ്റുകള്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത അനിയുഗ് 2010 ലെ പ്രവേശനം തീര്‍ത്തും സൗജന്യമായിരുന്നു.
