The Kerala Cartoon Academy organized its 29th annual conference in 2010 on a grand scale. The annual conference of the Kerala Cartoon Academy, held on January 31, 2010, at the Government Guest House in Ernakulam, was inaugurated by the State Transport Minister, Jose Thettayil. The conference was presided over by Kerala Cartoon Academy Chairman Prasannan Anikkad.
At the ceremony, the Kerala Cartoon Academy honored the children Anjan Satheesh and Keerthana, who had excelled in the field of cartooning despite physical disabilities, as well as the young cartoonist P. S. Bosin, who had won prizes four consecutive times at the State School/Higher Secondary Youth Festival (Kannur, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kozhikode).
P. Rajeev (MP), M. M. Monayi (MLA), Dominic Presentation (MLA), and Kerala Cartoon Academy Secretary Sudhir Nath also spoke at the function.
