KCA Election Cartoons Blog
On March 25, 2009, the election cartoons blog launched by the Kerala Cartoon Academy was inaugurated in Delhi by Oscar Award winner Rasool Pookutty. Academy Secretary Sudhir Nath, Kerala Union of Working Journalists State Committee member and Coordinating Editor of Manorama Publications Pradeep Kumar, Manorama Weekly Editor K. A. Francis, and Deepika Delhi Editor George Kallivayalil attended the function. This initiative, which brought together more than 80 Malayalam and other language cartoonists, features over 1,000 election cartoons.
2009 മാര്ച്ച് 25 ന് കേരള കാര്ട്ടൂണ് അക്കാദമി രൂപം കൊടുത്ത ഇലക്ഷന് കാര്ട്ടൂണുകളുടെ ബ്ലോഗ് ഓസ്ക്കാര് അവാര്ഡ് ജേതാവ് റസൂല് പൂക്കുട്ടി ദില്ലിയില് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. അക്കാദമി സെക്രട്ടറി സുധീര്നാഥ്, കേരള പത്ര പ്രവര്ത്തക യൂണിയന് സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിററി അംഗവും മനോരമ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങളുടെ കോര്ഡിനേററിങ് എഡിററര് പ്രദീപ് കുമാര്, മനോരമ വീക്കിലി എഡിററര് കെ എ ഫ്രാന്സിസ്, ദീപിക ദില്ലി എഡിററര് ജോര്ജ്ജ് കള്ളിവയലില് എന്നിവര് ചടങ്ങില് പങ്കെടുത്തു. മലയാളികളും മറ്റ് ഭാഷാ കാര്ട്ടൂണിസ്റ്റുകളുമായ 80 തില് പരം പേര് അണിനിരന്ന ഈ സംരംഭത്തില് 1000 ത്തില് പരം ഇലക്ഷന് കാര്ട്ടൂണുകള് ഉണ്ട്.
